Modifying DB T2 - Need Advice
 

I have a matrix that I love but am considering buying a smaller, lighter blind for long hauls and set up in tight spaces. BassPro has the T2 at $169! The only thing I don't like is the sewn in window on the front. I'm thinking of removing the mesh and re-attaching with magnets. Or I could line the window with velcro. I could attach the mesh for deer season and leave it off for turkey. I would also add a second layer of solid black to the front window. Can keep the black layer up with magnets and let down if I'm shooting out one of the other ports - keep from being silouhetted.

I'm worried that the magnets won't hold the mesh tight enough when an arrow is shot through - changing the impact point. My second concern is that the window is so big that I may not be hidden well if it is removed. Any thoughts? I hate to start cutting up a new blind only to make it worse...
