10 years from now

What will bow hunting be like???

RE: 10 years from now

Probably the same, with huge changes in the equipment area, I really don't see much change with the hunting side of it. With all of the advancements with the equipment already I really don't know what else they could do. But I am probably wrong.

With these bows getting faster and faster I see the DNR stepping in and putting restrictions on your bow of some kind...

I don't think there gonna get a whole lot faster, but I said that ten years ago:D. No I don't think they really could much more.

Well that really depends on our law makers!!

At the rate we are going right now I can tell you one thing, the elk heard is going to be close to instinction out west due to the abundant murdering wolf packs! But I am sure whitetail hunting will be just fine..

I think droughts will hurt out west just as much as anything. Many areas just arent getting the consistent rain they need it seems.
The wolves aren't the problem, it's the inability to manage them along with other game animals on a state level, remove the federal protection and the problem will be solved.

I think land access will only be harder and harder to acquire back east here. Equipment won't change all that much IMO, but they will market it as so regardless. The speeds on a 70# 30" IBO setup are near their peaks already.

10 years from now I will be hunting with the same bow I'm used this season! Technology will have no effect on me, which is what I like, its my choice!!

Technology can affect any Bowhunter's season whether he chooses to use it or not.[8D]

It hasn't been that many years ago many swore that 300fps was unattainable.

A lot of Bows now shoot 300+ fps even with a hunting setup.

I can remember when it was very difficult for a 28" draw to get to the ASA speed limit. Now my 60# 28" draw bow shoots 306fps with a 360 grain arrow.

Bows now that shoot 300 plus fps are quieter than bows shooting 230fps were a few years ago.

Yeah! They'll be changes;)
