Homebrews are nice for sure. Also, another vote for Scoutguard, its anice quality decently priced camera with video and ir. $200, pics are good, so are vids.

I would also!
However, in my case or thought process, I'm worried about thieves...
So I bought the cheapest I could find. As of last Jan 2008 the WildView's (2 meg) were two for $100.
4-SD 512k cards = $25.
16-Rechargeable "c" batteries w/ charger = $60
I can now scout leaving my camera out for a few weeks and when I retrieve them,
I simply swap out the batteries and cards and relocate them to a new spot for more scouting without going home.
Of course I'm so darn excited when I have pictures I almost pee my pants, while driving home to view them on my
computer, kind of like a male dog with his red thingy out!!!
I can cover twice as many spots for scouting than with only one camera!
My main focus is weather the deer have antlers or not, I'm not concerned about picture quality.
Although the age old saying of "you get what you pay for" can come into play with other features like,
trigger speed, battery life, longevity, etc...
Good luck and have a blast with it, I sure do!!!

I'd rather have a quality unit than 2 cheaper ones. Check on the boards and find someone to help you build a couple of Homebrews.
They are really the ticket!
