drawing tags?
 

Hello, I am a seasoned whitetail hunter and perfectly content with it but have never really given much thought to hunting different species. Over the last year i have really been getting the itch to hunt something diff. I read alot about people drawing tags to hunt in other states. How exactly does this work? i understand the point system thing over the years but how do you learn when and where to put in for them? I have looked at some state wildlife sites but cant seem to find anything written in plain english. lol i am just a public school educated man and it seems you have to have a little knowledge about what your doing before you can really understand these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Many states you canbuy a lot of theTags OTC or on the internet. Some you can buy a preference point for a year or 2 before you try to draw.

It's really simple in most states. Just decide what species you wanna hunt, check a few states regs and go from there.
