Starter bow

Hey, I wanna get into bowhunting for deer. I know this takes a lot of practice and patience. What kind of bow do you guys recommend for starters that is not super expensive. I have heard bears are good. Thanks

Welcome to the forums Whiskey. There are plenty of good starter bows out there that aren't too expensive. Bear, Diamond, and Martin, are all bows that can get the job done. Good luck!

Starter Bows? It depends on exactly what you want, and what you want to spend. Shoot all you can get your hands on, but here are a few suggestions.

1. Diamond Rock or Stud
2. BowTech Sniper or Swat
3. Ross Carnivore is also an Awesome bow

IMHO, i would go to AT classified section. Great bows 3-4 years old, all decked out for a lot less than new. Then, when you stay interested, and you will, start shooting everything out there until you find what feels right to you.
Nice name by the way, welcome aboard, lots of good advice here!

Most all the brands have an entry level bow that would make a good starter, or a used bow that's a couple years old. IMO - look for something with a good brace height (stay away from under 7").
