Seems there's a pretty strong correlation between bowhunting/archery and flyfishing. Hmmm, now to hide the money I need to spend on a fly setup from the soon to be wife

If you want recommendations on good equipment that you won't outgrow very quickly let me know. There are some very good buys out there that don't have to be a $650 Sage Z-Axis rod and a $400 Ross reel. We can go that way if you want. LOL.........but ya might want to start a bit more modest.

MGH, you can get a good flyfishing setup for around $350. It might not be a Winston BII X but it will be a nice setup that will last you plenty of years. Check out the Winston Vapor. My buddy runs all the stores for TCO. If you have any questions, pm me. I agree with Matt, I know more about flyfishing than I will probably ever know about bowhunting. Nothing beats the rush of watching a nice buck filtering its way through the woods towards your stand, but catching 24 inch bows in Alaska or fishing in the Rockiesis pretty awesome.

hunting in genreal would be my main hobby closely followed by raising poultry for 4-H shows and hopefully turkey hunting oh yeah i love to fish
