You aint lyin[:'(] I got power last night thankfully! We were very fortunate to be as comfortable as we were. We had the generator goin the whole time, and 2 100# bottles of propane so we had heat and power (mainly for the T.V. and creature comforts[:-][8D]) but since we have a well... no water. It sucked collecting ice sickles for the first few days. One day we had 11 people staying in our house! It was chaos.

YES I have spoke with Todd on the cell. He did have power and doing said he is doing fine. I could not get ahold of Grizz, but he did leave a message that he was without power, but finnaly got ahold of a generator and was now able to buy gas and food. The ice in there area was VERY BAD.

Bowtech signing in from KY update...

Yeah, we've been down for a little over a week. As many of you know we had a major ice storm that wiped out much of Kentucky as well of some of you in the surronding areas. I haven't spoke with Gi22ly in the past week, but I'll give him a try tommorrow and see how he is.

Later.

I'm still without power but holding on. It's all getting very old, I'm so mad I can't see straight. My wife called me from work yesterday, she had read in the paperthat KU (Kentucky Utilities) had 125 crew members working inourhome town, so I got in the car and drove around.[:@]There were a total of 6 trucks, 1 contained 2 guys sleeping, 2 trucks running up and down the road and 3 trucks parked with 6 guys standing around a poll talking.[>:]They can bleed FEMA all they want but get my dam power on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it is frustrating.I work with a guy that is still without power as well.

I think they are strapped pretty thin though.I went to Golden Coral the other night and there were 3 electric trucks in there at 9 in the evening just getting there supper.

Hang in ther bud,if you need anything, just let me know.

Does it remind you of your childhood?
