best, worst bow you ever shot?

what are some of the best, and the worst bows you have ever shot?

RE: best, worst bow you ever shot?

I think the worst bow I have ever shot was the Onieda..

The best bow I have ever shot.. I am not sure. My Black Ice is up there..

Any dual cam bow is out of the running. I don't care who makes it. Single cam all the way!

Actually I'll take a Dual Cam anyday over a Single Cam regardless of manufacturer. That's why they make both;)

My favorite Bows
1. BowTech Allegiance
2. BowTech 82nd
3. BowTech Guardian (I have a feeling my New Captain will soon step into this slot)
4. High Country Ultra Extreme

Worst bows???

It has to be either a Martin or a XI I shot. I liked the way the Martin shot I just couldn't keep limbs on it. (only bow I really ever had trouble with)
I never could enjoy shooting my XI. I ended up giving it away in about 4 months never even hunted with it.

The new Mathews Rezzion or whatever it's called....absolutely horrible.

Honestly. I would have to say the first generation X force was the worst. That thing felt like a tuning fork. Could have been that particular bow, and I am sure they have improved since there inception, but that would be the one. Best bows, I would have to say my Tribute, which I still love. I like the new Admiral. Allegiance is awesome. I also had the pleasure to shoot the new Hoyt Am32 and thought that it shot very nicely.

Best I ever shot was the Mathews DXT, PSE Bow Madness, and Hoyt Alphamax32 probably.

Worst I ever shot was probably PSE Mossy Oak-X and Bowtech Admiral.

Didn't say anything was wrong with a dual cam bow. But in my opinion they are not the "Best"... They are not as smooth on the draw, I can afford to sacrifice 20 fps... Besides, my shoulders thank me!

Best hunting bow I ever shot/ownedis either the Mathews Q2 or Switchback. They were quiet as hell, had no hand shock, and had a silky smooth draw.
Best target bow has to be the Martin Mystic...thing holds rock steady.

Worst was a PSE/Carroll Intruder I owned many years ago.

That thing could not have the center shot adjusted without fletching hitting the riser.

Dealer didn't know what to do. He called PSE and they wanted him to make shims for arrow rest. I don't know how shims would have done anything except make it worse. The thing was a POS.

I gave to my Father in Law. Ex Father in Lawtoday :D

The quietest, smoothest bow that I have ever shot was the Bowtech General. The worst was the PSE X-Force right after they came out with it......I have never shot a bow with so much vibration...lol. I haven't shot the newer ones yet, but I hear and assume that they are better......?

Best......I have to compare these in relation to its time in comparison with other bows during the time:

1. Bowtech Patriot
2. High Country Royal Hunter
3. Oneida Lite Force Magnum..very smooth drawing
4. Martin Firecat
5. Martin Cougar Magnum(2000 model)

Worst:

1. Jennings Buckmaster..easily the worse
2. Browning Compound Hunter...2nd compound bow I ever had. Shot pretty decent but had 25% letoff and the wooden laminated limbs twisted.
3. Oneida Screaming Eagle....fast, but loud and heavy.
2.

If you are looking for a Smooth drawing Bow you should really check out the New Ross Carnivores with the crank. It is undoubtedly the smoothest Bow I have drawn in several years.

I haven't owned a compound In 15 years but the last compound I owned was an XI Impact. That bow was quick, quiet, smooth. I never had an Issue with It.

I haven't owned a bad bow so I guess I can't comment on the worst bow thing.:)

Worst bow ever shot would have to be the Jenning's Buckmaster. When i was younger, i thought it would be so cool to have the buckmaster's edition bow but after shooting it for awhile i quickly realized it was a piece of junk. I was young and didn't have a lot of money so i shot it for a couple years and did manage to shoot some deer with it.

The best bow i have ever shot is the one i am currently shooting, Hoyt Katera.

Worst Ever: A shot a Whisper Creek something or other at a Rinehart event, holy god that thing felt like it had sand in the axles. The first PSE X-Farce is a close second though.

Best: My Bowtech Old Glory. Sold it, and I am kicking myself ever since. I like my Commander, but I wish I had my Old Glory back!

For me its hard to rank em' b/c ive shot so many. I couldnt really say whats the best or worse b/c if you buy a 200$ bow, you get what you pay for, so is that really worth comparing to the many 1000+ $ bows ive shot? Not honestly. I would have to say as of current my favorites are the BT Center pivot series. Any of them are amazing IMO. And of course the AM's. All of the bows ive had i really liked, but there are always things that you dont like about them. My AM right now is honestly hard to beat for me though. It has all of the good in all of the bows ive owned/shot it seems. My 101st was an excellent bow as well, but there were some things that urked me about it from time to time, but its speed and shooting made up for them;)

RE: best, worst bow you ever shot?

I cant honestly say theres not a bad bow out there, its all in one persons opinion on how a bow feels, shoots, etc. These pieces of equipment are all designed to do the same thing. But how one interpruts these pieces of equipment is one mans story vs another. Some companies have a better design than others, some are lighter, some are faster, some have the greatest warranties and stand behind them 110% while others dont even have a warranty. Now you tell me, whats the worst bow you have ever shot?

Best... Switchback for single cam and the Admiral for 2 cam..

Worst... I'd hate to say it but maybe the Reezen.. Just my opinion..

Now I'm talking recent bows here.. If you go back in the day compared to bows now there are too many to list...
