I have not even gotten back my 07 deer and turkey mounts as yet, muchless thinking about the 08 mounts. Where I live here there's really two excellent guys doing taxidermy and both are a PIDA to deal with. I wish I can find someone in the USA to do my mounts now.
I saw a beautiful 2008mount the other day on this site, can't now remember the name of the member. Was a pedistal mount. If I could get that taxidermist, I'll do that without any hesitation.

Funny you mention that because the guy that won the world master div whitetail last year "Risovi" was looking at my buddies work at his shop.
He mentioned to him how he could not believe how many mounts he was doing for competition, and he about fell over when my buddy told him
that they weren't for competition but were in fact just for his customers!
Here are three he did for my son and I, he had a photographer take some photos of them for his brochure.

I should have my 2008 back in a couple of weeks.
My b.i.l. is my taxi. He did it last week as the first of the year... drying now... just needs to finish it up... came out very nice.
Will post pic once I recieve.
