Cabelas GORE-TEX MT050 Whitetail Extreme
 

Anyone have any feedback on this product? I am thinking about purchasing the Parka and Bibs for bowhunting.

I would really like to know how quiet the fabric is while moving...especially in sub freezing temps.

Its funny i just bought the pants Literally yesterday... i dont know if you can get to a cabelas near you, or if your store has the same sale as mine, but last night i got a $220 pair of pants for 99.99 they had a special in store only sale... i bought this

There awsome, i love them there quiet warm enough for late season to pull over all other clothes but good for bow season.
I WISH i could of got the top version of this for $110 but i dident have any money left [8D]
Anyway i highly recommend them i think there great.

If you go to Cabelas and select the item you're interested inyou'll find all the reviews written by those that bought before you. You'll find the reviews right under the picture of the item within the block "Overall Customer Satisfaction". They're usually pretty good. You get some guys that are nit pickers, but for the most part they come up with downsides to them and also the good sides. Take for example the bibs. Everyone complains about it not having a two way zipper. Makes it hard to get to pockets on interior clothing.

I own two sets. I have had them for over 8 years. I have the unisulated jacket and pants in a brown and one in green. They have been one of the best items for hunting I have ever bought. I have been in many rainstorms with them and they still keep me dry. Too bad they are so expensive BUT well worth it. They are quiet and comfortable. I highly recomend the Whitetail Extreme series.

Is everybody still happy with the MT050 ?

I froze my a$$ off today in ski pants; with a base layer and mid layer.

Yes - I love mine after 3 years!

Have had mine for 8-10 years and still going strong. The outfit is very warm in a treestand but a little noisy when rubbed against the bark of the tree. I'm not sure about the newest versions but I wish mine had better hand warming pockets. The parka has zippered pockets just a little small for my hands. It would be nice to have pockets to access pants under the bibs but all in all probably the best outfit out there for whitetail stand hunting!

I have a cabelas bib/jacket combo that I paid 5 to 6 hundred dollars for and man do I love them. I tried to find the exact ones that I have so I could tell you, but I couldnt, they are about 4 years old. They are scent lok and dry plus and I am almost certain they are whitetail extreme. But mine have a kind of fleece outer. I would 100% buy these again!!
