My coach/doctor said were gonna see where 2 weeks leaves us as far as my breathing etc. So I hope he is right. However I got mad last night and I thought it was happening again.

I am no doctor, and I don't know anything about torn lungs, but I can tell you everything you described is an anxiety attack. The same exact thing happened to me 16 years ago, my roommates called the paramedics. I thought for sure i was dying. My muscles all tightened up, my fingers curled right aroung the arm of the chair. Everything you said happened to you happened to me.With the continued difficulty breathing i am confident you are having anxiety issues. My doctor originally diagnosed me with excercised induced asthma, it took several years of hell to finally get diagnosed properly.Good luck, I too am a hockey player, I played my whole life and into college, I know how much it sucks to watch a game you should be playing in.
