I use these huge 3 X 2 1/2 (all of 40"), which double as chop sticks when out to the local restaurant.
And YES I did arrow this massive deer!
The other set I use as drum sticks.

I use sheds, and switch to fresh ones every couple years because I think older ones sound a bit different. I use 120-130 inch sets. Am I the only one who doesnt cut the brows off? I never found the need to.

my uncle and i bought a buck decoys last year and he just wanted a doe decoy so i took the antlers off his hands...they sounded like plastic at first but after some use they started sounding good

I demo'd a house years ago. A old ass shoulder mount came rolling out of the attic. The home owner was there and I asked him about the mount. He said it wasnt his and he bought the house after he returned from WW II. he also said that the house was empty since the late 30's. So he gave me the old mount. I cut the antlers off and use them to rattle. So my rattling antlers are at least 80 years old.
