Single most important...
What is the single most important piece of information that you learned over the years from bowhunting that you would like to share with your fellow bowhunters? It could be something people already know and practice but it is whatmakesyour hunts successful.
For me Iwould have to say be patient. Don't rush shots, don't getdiscouraged from not seeing deer, and just enjoy being able to be in the woods experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells. |

Don't hunt for fame/fortune/ego, hunt for yourself and the internal pleasure you derive from pursuing game. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone as long as you are hunting legally. JUST HUNT!

RE: Single most important...
Don't touch anything (vegetation, stand steps or leave scented up bow ropes hanging from your stand) with your bare skin. You don't want the deer to find out that you were there.

When you're in the woods, enjoy it and be in the moment. Forget everything else you have going on in your life and just enjoy nature at its finest.
You can learn a lot of life lessons from the animals that surround you in the woods. |
