I guess I have it pretty badly my damn self. I've got well over 300 hours on stand this season (stopped keeping track)andI did 14 dark to dark hunts this year. That's my personalrecord. I alsomade a trip to Alberta. With all of this time in the woods you would think I'd have more than one small 9ptand one doe to show for it.But that's hunting I guess. I really do live for this stuff though!!

After allthe equipment I purchased proir to this past season, I said I was done for a year or so because I had everything I needed......but I can't keep out of the classifieds....the season just ended last Thursday and Ialready own another bow w/entire set-up (makes 3 now) and one of those Hunting watches that someone posted on here awhile back.

It never ends

I've spent more in the past two seasons than any other season combined. I'm slowly working on building up a home shop, but even still, I'm starting to slow down now. We just purchased a house, and we need all the money we can get for the closing, but don't worry, I will be back I still absolutely love being in the outdoors. Bowhunting and archery are addictions for me.

However, I'm also very passionate about photography, and I'm starting to sway towards picking up flyfishing which also has plenty of people just as addicted as we are to bowhunting[&:]

In "04" I bought 6 New Bows to see which I liked best, and which shot for me best. I wanted to really put them through their paces.

I Bought:
1. BowTech Patriot Dually
2. BowTech Liberty
3. Hoyt Xtec
4. Hoyt Xtec (different cam size)
5. Mathews Outback
6. High Country's (flagship bow I forget the name)

In 2 months I was down to 2 and I've never looked back. I still shoot a lot of bows but I have not purchased that many different brands since

Im glad that ive got the luxury of having a good shop just a few miles away from where I go to school, thats where I test out all of the brands.

I am too the point that I have about everything I need in regards to gear, clothing etc. I will try to get a lot of miles out of all of my equipment. I am going to buy one more bow, one that I will set up for late season extreme cold temps and one that will probably end up being my main bow when I get sick of pulling 80lbs.

I really dont want to spend much more money on hunting gear/products, I've spent enough and have all I need other than the occasionaldozen arrows andscent away products or the addition of a treestand now or then. I will save my money for traveling out of state on DIY hunts. 'Bout it.

I could have done that also, but honestly it is hard to tell the little differences in a bow just shooting it 30 minutes or even an hour and not setup like your own Bow.

Actually after selling the bows I did Not keep I lost very little money. A couple were gone in less than a month[8D]

I wanted the Bow that Shot for me Best!! Not second Best

I dont blame ya at all Dan, once I get a little more overhead I will likely do the same thing. Unless I discover a "super brand" like everyone else.[8D]
