The following was taken from another site. I'll keep my opinion to myself at least for now, other than saying does it really matter if its a monster buck or not, but I could not honestly believe some of the replies. Guess I am an elitist and too old school when it comes to bowhunting?

If you had a monster buck sited at 100 yards with no wind standing broadside and completely relaxed and didn't think you could get closer for whatever reason, would you take the shot?

So are the same ones who might take that shot at a monster buck willing to take that shot at a doe or lessor in stature buck?

That one is a no brainer, take the shot and you are crazy. Alot can happen during the flight at 100 yrds I dont care if you can hit nickels at 100 yrds, one half step either way = bad shot. Bad Idea.

I can't speak for anyone else but my abilities wouldn't allow for a shot like that.
Like someone else said, the size of the antlers doesn't increase my effective range. Seems pretty irresponsible.

When talking Coues hunting with some Westerners....I was told to just stay home if I wasn't prepared to shoot 80-100 yard shots, since any closer simply isn't realistic. Those deer are TINY and jittery, a 100 yard shot is a shoot and wish situation. I won't stay home, but I won't be shooting at those distances either. I don't have to take home a critter to have a successful hunt.
