UPDATE:
We pulled the plug, mainly the antler dropping and lack of preparation made me gun shy.
We are hoping to do this hunt around the 1st of 2010, with hopes of playing the odds on the antlers???

Thanks Gents!
I guess I'll go golfing in March and start bugging my wife to go spring Bear hunting in New Brunswick

I know how badly you wanted to do thishunt, butI'mREAL glad you made this decisionEd. I was concerned that you were just tossing the dice on this for the reasons you mentioned above, and might be wasting your money. Good move!!

There's Turkeys also Ed!

10 weeks until KS. and NE. Archery Turkey will be in. I hope to hit both.

Careful what you wish for...

I'd come out just to stack logs with you brother!
Let me know, I have all the tools...
16" saws, chainsaws, etc... we could build a nice little hunting camp deep in the woods,
where all those elusive WI whitetails hang out.
I'm sure we can sign a few others up and have us a good ole time!?
