2009 Bowtech Swat

I am fairly new to this website, so here goes. I am finally getting around to posting pics of my 2009 Swat. I got this bow in the end of Dec. It is an 09 Left handed Swat in Realtree green hd camo.I put a HHA 5519 Sight on it, quiktunedrop-away rest, 4" doinker, an alpine 5 arrow quiver also in realtree green hd,kisser button, and in-line peep sight.I absolutely love this bow, it is very smooth, quiet and vibration free.I had a 2007Bowtech Equalizer, but this one is far superior. Unlike my old bow the swathas absolutely no vibration. The draw is super smooth and no hump to get over in the middle like my equalizer. Here are some pictures. I do have one question for the 2009 bowtech shooters about the string stopper. My string sits off of the rubber about 1/4-3/8 of an inch. Is this normal, will it still help? How can i make it sit on the rubber?

I cant help you with any advice on the string stopper, but you have a sweet looking bow there. You could try the technical forum to ask that question, but I know a ton of people on this site shoot Bowtechs so hopefully someone will have your answer in this forum.

My guess from looking at your photos is that you have a 70 pound bow backed down to around 62 pounds. This is why the string is no longer almost touching the suppressor. When you back your limbs down it changes you limb angles and increases the distance between your string and stopper.

It is not anything to worry about.

Congrats on the new rig and best of luck with it.
