Hunter orange and blinds

Someone said something on another post about not hunting from a blind on public land. Got me thinking and can anyone explain why there are no blinds(that I'm aware of) that have any orange on them? Even if they areorangeshoot thru screens or even a snap on orange panel. You'd think that the manufacturers could make something that would help promote the safety of hunting out of one of these. I've seen people walking or driving from in my blind and thought what would happen if they shot this way and how could I make myself more visible to people and not animals. I think that should be something sent with all blinds. I don't know,my thoughts for the day.

One of blinds does have four (one on each side) flaps that can either be camo or orange. There is a new law in Illinois that requires an orange flag to placed on top (so it can be viewed from 360 degrees) of a ground blind that is being used on State property.

The Ameristep pop-up I have has an orange flap on the pouch to pull out while you're packing it in, I suppose you could use that somehow.

i just take my orange hat off and place in a plastic bag, then put on top of blind.

they are making them with little tear away/velcro patches on all 4 sides near the top. when you pop it up it's camo, then take off camo patch so orange is exposed.

they make these as well

I believe in Wisconsin you are required to put up an orange flag?

In Wi if youre hunting public land or state owned land and wish to hunt from a ground blind during gun season, you need to have at least 144sq inches of blaze orange attached to the blind. its in the regs, the number may not be correct but its over 100sq inches.
