need some HNI help from my bowhunting friends

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to upload a picture for my avatar. Everytime I go and try to do it, I resize it so that its under 145x145 (HNI specifications), but it still says file is too large. Ive always wanted to have an avatar on here but I gave up a long time ago. Im tired of settling for the "animated deer head" as my avatar..Kinda old, ya know..

Any info is greatly appreciated,

Adam

Adam,
You need to use a photo-editing program, and re-size the pic. If you have a digital camera that came with a photo-editing program, it should be sufficient.

It has to be under 10 KB in size and also had to be under 145 x 145 for the dimensions in pixels.

Just make sure when you resize and save it that it's under 10 kilobytes in size too.

Hope this helps!

X2. Post it up. You can also resize images with Photobucket (upload and resize all in one place). I need to add that to my photo posting tutorial.

WOW Adam, I'm not sure which is uglier, that poor ugly kid in the carhart stocking cap or that deer he found that looks like it had drowned????

Good to see you figured it out, now to go deal with my sore eyes!!!! :D
