My hunting season In Minnesota closed on December 31st. I was lucky enough to get my deer on the 31st with an hour of light left. I hunted my butt of this year and didn't have the sightings I wanted but I tell ya I already miss not going out even though the temps are fricking cold as heck. Bring on bear hunting September 1st!!

I was going to go out in the morning but the battery gremlins came and killed the battery in my truck. Now it'sa block of iceand lead that won't even take a charge. :(

If it wasn'tbattery gremlins, then the deer are playing really dirty. [>:]

My bow season ends the 15th. I'm done deer hunting for the year though.

I'll be in a tree stand this Saturday and next then that's it till May when I go to Maine for spring bear.

I will make it the weekend of the 17th. That is the anterless only season here in Illinois. I really don't need any more deer in the freezer, but my two boys are wanting to put a couple more down, so I will take them and see what happens.

I'll be out this weekend and have one comp day to take next week before the end on the 15th. Still trying to make it a 2 buck season.

This saturday is my last day for a chance at a buck. After that I can still hunt does until Jan 24th.
