FMJ vs ACC?

I am looking at switching to one of these arrows and was wondering which one I should go with? Is one tougher then the other? I know guys on here shoot both so I am interested in your responses. I will hunt whitetail and turkeys with them and shoot some 3-D this summer (just for fun). Thank You!

I would wait for the new Pro hunter ACC's.They are hitting internet stores now and should be at your local shop shortly.

They are pretty much the same as the ACC but they will utilize the HP insert, which should have better broadhead alignment and they also will use the Xnock, along with the time tested uni bushing system.

I prefer the carbon on the outside, imo, they are tougher this way but I have both and I was extremely impressed with the tunability and accuracy of the FMJ's.

Does anyone shoot the Goldtip CAAs they are made like the ACCs for a fraction of the price?

I have both as well. They are both very impressive arrows.

It's just a matter of personal preference;)

The aluminum on the outside comes out of foam MUCH easier than the carbon.

I love my FMJ's.:)

Basically both are Aluminum/Carbon arrow shafts.

The FMJ has the Aluminum on the outside and carbon on the inside

The ACC is Carbon on the outside and Aluminum on the inside.

They both use different components as well.;)

No experience with FMJ's but I have used the A/C/C's for the last couple of years(I made the switch after I had a Beaman ICS explode on release for no apparent reason) I have shot numerous animals and the only arrow that didn't go back in my quiver tohunt again was stepped on by a whitetail after the shot had blown completely through it. Tough and straight...excellent arrow. I am sure you can't go wrong with either. I will NEVER just shoot carbon arrows again though.

Another vote for ACC's. I've been using them for over 10 years.
