These type of GTG's are fun, and they let us have an opportunity to unwind, give and take pointers, shoot others bows to see how they feel, etc. I really enjoyed the NE GTG, and I think Josh did as well, except maybe being left at the the campground part. :D There are memorable things like Jim (Huntinson) running his 6 miles because he was getting ready for an elk hunt, GERM and his cookie crunch. A couple of knuckleheads tilting the "Tressel Vessel," even some jackhole that forgot his quiver with his ARROWS & his RELEASE in it. Sharing of good table fare from the Sloppy Joes to the Summer Sausage to that wonderful elk that....([:@] Scratch that, Rob (Elkhuntinnut said he was gonna bring some Elk, but he didn't).......

No, guys, these are aGREAT time, they take some planning, and some effort, but when all is said and done, EVERYONE usually has a grand old time, and it's something to look forward to each year. Learning about others hunting methods, various techniques that may not be totally mainstream, but effective, etc. Get on board with a group of guys to do some planning, and you can make it happen.

Heck, I remember a few guys being a little nervous when the "Cornhole" game got mentioned. PreacherTony may even act like he's gonna attend and at the last minute cancel, leaving you to wonder if he really exists or not. :D

Rob can brag all he wants.... But when he lays his head on his pillow at night, the last thing that goes through his mind before he starts dreaming about it, is how he got Owned twice last spring.;)

I have much better dreams than that, useually about women and ropes and chains and stuff like that:D
