Being on good property certianly doesn't guarentee that you will kill a trophy...but you are right...you can't shoot nice animals if there aren't any around.

I have a real good spot, but just didn't get it done this year yet, so does that mean I really suck more than a guy with mediocre property?

I agree that woodsman ship skills are only so good if there arent any big deer around.But this argument works both ways thats for sure.
