thanks guys, I think I will go with the Hoyt but I did not want to pay that much for a bare bow. My wife is going to love me for this since there is a new youngin on the way. I' ll blame it on her

boldplate, I don' t know much about any of those bows you mentioned.
but I do know about the offset grip on the diamond back pearson.
I think you' d like it. I shoot the golden eagle splitfire 36 with the 15 degree
offset grip, and I really like the feel. it not only prevents string slap, but also
makes it easier to pull a little more weight.
I wish more bow companys offered more bows with this offset grip.
I really think they would sell.
