RE: Broadhead for Turkeys
I use NAP Gobbler Getters. They are basically a spitfire with larger blades, and a blunted tip. Try a search also, and you should get alot of info on this topic.

RE: Broadhead for Turkeys
I used a Rocket Steelhead on my first bird, I was not impressed, on my second bird I used the same Rocket with a bigger cutting diameter (forgot the name) and it worked much better. I just bought the NAP Gobbler Getter because of the blunt nose. The bird doesn' t seem to go as far if the arrow stays in him, pluse all the energey from the arrow is absorbed into the bird.
Good Luck!!!! |

Bigpapascout,
How many birds have you shot with that blunt tip?? Does it really stop' em dead? Where do you usually aim for on the bird when you shoot one of these blut tips Thanks |
