I hate cancer...I work in a cancer hospital. I can't stand to see what it does to good folks everyday. Horrible disease. My best wishes to you and your mom. May she overcome...

This brings tears to my eyes. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 18, I'm now 38, I lost my father 2 weeks ago, hart attack....Proud to admit I was a MAMA's BOY!!!! Prayers will be said by me for your mother.

My advice to you, is to be strong, remain calm, don't let her see you get weak this alone can't help, it's OK to cry as much as you like or need to, be there for her as much as you can, but also you still need to live your life, if she sees your daily routine change and we know MOMs sense stuff like that she will question you. Have faith in GOD, you don't have to say the traditional prayers, you can talk to him just like you would anyone, he listens, and he will guide you and your family in the right direction.

I'm not sure what religion you are, I'm Roman Catholic, here isa Catholic prayer for your Mom:

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.

for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,

Brian,I pray for your mom. May God give her the help that she needs. I lost my mother to cancer 8 years ago. There's not a single day that goes by that I don't think of my mother, for one reason or the other. My mom LOVED Christmas so much! It makes it hard to enjoy the Holidays when she's not here. Every time I hear a Christmas song, I think of her.:)

Hey Bud. I am there with you. My Mother was diagnosed just over a year ago with liver cancer. My family's prayers are with you and your family.

My prayers are sent to you and your family. I lost my Mother last month and on the same day my Father had a heart attack. He had a triple bypass the next day and is doing real well. God,prayers,family and friends will get you and your Mother through this. Hang in there Buddy! God Bless!

Brian,

They have pretty good treatment now days for cancer. My father has a form of bone marrow cancer an has been through chemo an has been taken a mild chemo pill for about five years now. He has his up an down days. Iwish nothing but the best you an your mom.

Hello HNI Team,

Thank you so much for all your prayers and kind words....I sent my post over 5 months ago about mom.

Her current situtation is actually very good. Her cancer levels are down and almost at a neutral point. All this was done through prayer!

I pray every day that things remain the way they are.

Mom is on her feet and wearing the daylights out of my dad....she's gardening, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and spending lots of time with the grand kids. God is with us. MW
