Broadheads for turkeys

Last year was my first year turkey hunting. I wanted to use a shotgun to get my first one down. Well 45 minutes into my first hunt I was carrying my first gobbler across the field.

This year I'm going to mix it up a little. I have a blind ordered and plan on chasing them with my bow. What kind of heads do you all use? I use Montecs while deer hunting, but was thinking about switching to an expandable for turkey.

Any broadheadused fordeer will work equally well on turkeys.

I like to use mechanicals, though. I use NAP gobbler Getters.

I really want to check out "strut busters", or Magnus Bull Heads.

I have used guilliotines and had good results but I have just been using my rage two blads the last two years and they work great remember it is just a 20 pound bird you dont need anything to fancy.

I didn't get to try them, lol, but some of the other guys on our staff had great luck this past spring shooting Steeforce Phathead Talons.

GobblerGuillotines perform well, and theres the added benefit of a clean kill every time. No worries about wounding a bird, hes either missed clean or hes missing his head after the shot.

Those are sick!

I want to try the Bullheads too Kyle. From what I am told, they are sick.

Just don't forget the blades need extra clearance out of a blind window.:D

I have used Bullheads, Spitfire XP's, Gobbler Getters, Slick Trick Mags, and the New Grizz Tricks.
I'll be screwing on Grizz Tricks this spring as I was impressed with their performance this past week. Spitfire XP's would be my second choice.;)
