I put a heavy arrow on my Elite and got the speed under 270. IMO the speed bows really like heavy arrows. The bows shoot better IMO.

82nd at 70#s with 28.5" draw anda 500 grain arrow as I recall velocity is in the 270's.

The big thing that I noticed is the harsher draw (as compared to an05 Allegiance). Not a factor in warm weather really. But in the cold with multilayers of clothing it is noticeable. If you draw back and have to let down, most of the time it means "game over".

I really havnt noticed any differences, it seems to me that as long as your bow it tuned properly with the right set-up, any good broadhead will fly good out of it. I can get muzzy's, rages, thunderheads, and STs to fly with the same POI out of my elite.
