Some of us are not just trophy hunters, some of us actually enjoy the sport and like to put some good meat in the freezer. I get two buck tags in mass and I wanted to fill one early, Sorry that doesn't make any sense to you.

I disagee with the delivery.....but the message is valid. If I'm not mistaken.....don't the animals have to make "book" to count towards the feat?

Forgive me if I'm way off. What do I know? I just cut the hell out of my finger, sharpening my knife.[:-]

Congrats on the harvest and hope you succeed in your futurequest Joe! You must be an energetic young lad considering your aspirations. I hope you have the resources tocontinue your journey as the cost for hunting most of the species on your list will be quite high for out-of-state tags and guide services to get you on land where several of those rare animals reside. You might not be so young by the time you finish the list, but in any case good luck to you and welcome to the forum. Keep us posted on your progress.

Actually the super slam requires you to harvest one of each north american big game animals. If you shoot each animal on the list and they all make the record books then you have completed an "Ultimate Slam".

I wish you luck, it will take some time and lots $$ something I have little of myself..I guess you don't haveto kill trophy game, just the game...doesn't have to be the biggest..you will need lots mental toughness and desire...remember there have only been a few to do it and one of those was Chuck Adams....imagine that...you could be in the same circle as him..
