What a shame but it happens every day. I hunted a big 8pt out behind my mother-in-laws house one year. I was standing in her kitchen one night after hunting when i heard a car lock it up. Yep shore enough there was my 8pt trying to make it across the road. He didnt make it....damn shame.

At least his antlers weren't shattered! My buddy hit a good buck and the antlers shattered on impact.
Truly sad when a deer dies this way though.

What a shame. He would have been a dandy if he made it another year.

We all have our own opinions. When I hear the word monster I generally think 170+ inch bucks. Maybe it would be a monster in NC though.
