ALPHA MAX BOWS IN BLACK
 

Saw the DEMO bows today. The finish is just like that of the Katera in all black. Im posting this b/c i know of a couple guys that were interested to see if the black was very shiny or not. It is very similar to my 101st.

I agree but it still has more chance of glare than the camo version.[8D]

I love it and if I were getting a double duty bow(3-d/hunting) bow,it would DEFINATELY be blackout/camo but mine is going to be a hunting bow and I just didn't want to take that chance on that 1 shot.

See pic,there is glare and that is what scared me.

Although,it didn't seem to hurt him.[&:]:D

That's the only way I would buy one unless I could get it dipped and crackerized. I'm just not a big fan of the camo pattern that they use. The black riser with the camo limbs looks sweet though.

I completely understand about the possible glare issue, and agree TFOX that its that one shot that counts.

I ordered mine tonite:D All black 35. I will be ordering my VT strings for it tomorrow as well. I dont know what colors to get. Im getting sick of black and red b/c that is what was on my 101st (sold it tonite). Im thinking about going with black and blue or black and grey. Anyone have any suggestions or unique color ideas.

drock,my guy can do a tri color for you and have 1 base color and have 2 differnt off colors at the top of the string and the bottom of the string.:D

So,if you look at it from center serving up,it is 2 colors and if you look at it from center serving down,it is 1 color the same and the other color is different from the top.;)


See if they can do that for you.That is about as unique as it comes.

Black and silver would look nice.

Heck,nowadays,all black is unique.:D

Im just tired of red and black. Not that they dont look good, im just ready for change. I think im going with black and blue, or blue and orange.

I'm a big fan of those blacked out bows. I wanted my General in black, but the only way I could get it was with the dumb flames. Maybe later...

The General is a sweet looking bow and I loved it in black too! It's too bad it was lacking in speed but that's why they came out with the Admiral and IT looks sweet too! :D

I like that...what model is it?Hmmm. I have a local powder coater in town that is very reasonable.What would be the process; have my pro shop disassemble and then take to my powder coater, any precautions I should be aware of? My 06 Tribute is what I would like to do it to

Yeah, it's an 82nd Airborne....I love it. It is the smoothest speed bow I have ever shot, and I LOVE the black....

I had a blue and black string on top and black and silver on the bottom portion(or the opposite,can't quit remember) that looked awesome on my black with silver flame protec.;)

I couldn't find them in all black. But, I did find them with the red, green, purple flames.....Not for me...too foofy.

This is an AM32 that Crackers (Mike Carter) did! 30" 60# IBO arrow, he got 334 w/out a peep and loop! 331 with the peep and loop10fps above IBO speeds.

BTW, this does have some definate glare in the picture.

BTW, that 331 on the AM is 11fps faster than my 101st with his strings and a TVA tune! My 101st' IBO is 340. I figured my AM was going to be considerably slower than my 101st (not that it matters) but im actually thinking it might be pretty close once I get it tuned.

That's to cool looking. I think the glare in the woods will bea non-issue.We're seeing camera flash, and artificial lighting here. I think it will be fine.

Does he have the limbdriver chord anchored to the axle in that pic ?? Interesting..

Those black bows are awesome. That will be my next bow color. Now I just have to decide on the bow.:D

Yeah he does have the LD cord anchored to the axle! Ive never seen that.

I'll have remember that whenI get mine. Looks like the chord is made of string material too, I did that with mine last summer. Really liked it.

It is made from string material. He has the Limb Driven tothe MAXX kit on their I believe which allows you to make a loop around the post on the rest. Crackers also made my 101st setup the same way. He built the cord for it and made the loop and everything.

Yea,that kit is made by Shmitty's strings or something like that.$12 I believe Any string maker can do one, and you can probably get the correct screw and washers at a hardware store to afix it to the rest.

I hate seeing pics of these black bows......I dang near ready to buy one now, but I gotta wait !!

Im going with dark blue strings, and the graphics on my stabilizers will be blue as well. Should look sick!!!
