I didn't even know a taxidermist could get a mount done in one month total from start to finish?
How'd he get the cape back from tanning so fast?[:-]

Heck I had to wait 3 weeks after the cape was pulled on mine just for drying and detail work.:D

My taxi can get it done in 2 weeks. He tans himself. To bad i didn't have the money for it. I have to wait 8 months. And yes he is a full time taxidermist. OK so he runs a trap line and guides during the season...... mostly for bear. Awesome work he does. I have seen mounts 10yrs old from him and it looks like he did it yesterday.

well he told me that he tans it himself he said its relatively easy and quick with the right supplies when i came to pick it up he was fleshing out another deer and he told that that was what my deer looked like 10 days erlier
