To me, that just looks dangerous. I don't think a 10/22 was meant for these types of pressures. Maybe these guys have some solid tests to back it up. I bet it recoils.

I have thought about 1 for gun season,I personally think it would be a blast and great for kids.BUT,the 10-22 model would not be legal in ky because it is a rim fire.:D But,I believe the .223 model would be.

There's nothing wrong with crossbows. They're legal, so get over it.

To get kids out hunting that can't pull a bow back.

I see what your saying but If kids want to get a bow back they can get It done. It's called doing a little work and practicing at lighter draw weights to get to the legal draw weight In your state or province.

I can see you haven't had too many 8 year old girls shooting archery equipment.[8D]

Heck,I still have my son's bow on 22#'s.(actually getting ready to increase it over the next few months)IMO,it is much more important to teach shooting fundamentals at very comfortable weight.I tried to bump it up for him but he was going to be overbowed so I decided he needed to wait another year.

We don't have a minimum requirement in Ky,but I have mine.;)

No I haven't but don't start your kids off with to heavy of a bow when there young. I've got a ton of little recurve's and longbows that my brother and I used as kids. We were 3 years old when we started and any little girl out there would of had a blast with these things and pull them back just fine. These bows were lucky If they were 5lbs. Anyone can do It, It just takes time and the right preparation.

My daughter started with a nref recurve I fixed to shoot arrows when she was 2 and has been shooting recurves since she was 3 or 4 but she wasn't able to pull 30# COMFORTABLY untill she was 11 or 12.She lost some strength due to having to shoot lefty due to her dominant eye and being right handed.

If I could have afforded one of these when she was 8,I would have purchased one for her to use if it would have been legal to hunt with.

As soon as I find the picture of my son's bow,I will post it.You will appreciate it.;)
