I have thought about 1 for gun season,I personally think it would be a blast and great for kids.BUT,the 10-22 model would not be legal in ky because it is a rim fire. But,I believe the .223 model would be.

Sad part is, they will use the same argument X bow manufactures used to wormtheir asses into the archery season!
There's nothing wrong with crossbows. They're legal, so get over it.

To get kids out hunting that can't pull a bow back.

I see what your saying but If kids want to get a bow back they can get It done. It's called doing a little work and practicing at lighter draw weights to get to the legal draw weight In your state or province.

I can see you haven't had too many 8 year old girls shooting archery equipment.[8D]

Heck,I still have my son's bow on 22#'s.(actually getting ready to increase it over the next few months)IMO,it is much more important to teach shooting fundamentals at very comfortable weight.I tried to bump it up for him but he was going to be overbowed so I decided he needed to wait another year.

We don't have a minimum requirement in Ky,but I have mine.
