I just got bought a new Fred Bear Lights Out from bass pro. It's 71# with a 29" draw length.The archery tech. set me up with a dozen Redhead Carbon Fury arrows cut to 29 5/8 inches and weigh in at 431 grains with a 100grain FT and 2" blazer vanes. I dont know much about arrow selection and wieght and all that but the guy seemed to know what he was talking about.

So tell me about yalls arrows. I might learn something new.

hunting arrows are around 400 or so. Target arrows are 308.

My hunting arrow, with a 100 grain heads are 417 grains.

Born in TX, raised in LA, have a double bachelors degree, a masters, and working on a PhD. I use "yall" religiously. It's hard to fix how you were raised.

419 gr. with my broadheads and my 28 1/2 inch 400 axis arrows. I'm blowing through every thing I shoot including my bag target, 3 D target and the mature bucks I have shot.

No. Definitely not. Some of the things I'veread in my time (not just here)would almost qualify as "desecration" of the english language.By comparison, contractions likey'all could be considered impeccable grammar. You could even use "cain't" for "can't" as long as it's spelled correctly and you don't mind folks making fun of you.[8D]

Right at 380 but I am looking to lighten them up to around 330 or under. I only shoot 65 lbs with a 400 spine so I don't need too much weight. JMHO
