So little meat for a tag.
The first deer I killed this year with the bow was a doe fawn. A little on the older side, which surprised me considering how early it was, but still this years fawn. I don't really use up a tag since the limit is 3 antlerless deer per day.

I shot one earlier this year, she was part of a doubleI had that day. I shot her mom first, mom only made it 10 feet, so the doe fawn came back to her, and since I was looking to fill the freezer, I took her also. I would do it again if I had the chance, although I have passed up on 2 button bucks this year, I do not like to shoot them.

Taste cant be beat. Its been a while since I shot a fawn, but the reason I did it last was to fill my doe tag on the last day.

Yes, I killed one this year with the longbow. That 1/2 mile drag wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been First one I've shot in many years, but my freezer was empty and man she ate good. My wife quit making fun of me after I served her a healthy dose of baby backstrap
