Imheading to Arizona for a Coues Deer/Desert Mulie January Rut hunt in January 2010...so long as nothing catastrophic happens between now and then. I will likely focus on mulies, but if they are sparse, Ill head higher and glass for coues.
Supposed to be one of the toughest (not physically, just to score an animal) deer hunts a man can find in NA. We shall see.

Irhuntr Is correct! I PMed him right away and told him not to say anything so we could see who else could figure It out. Thanks Irhuntr for playing along!!
Don, you disappointed me! These Coues' Deer are In your state of New Mexico.
You got It Kamil, there nick name Is the Grey Ghost. They are one heck of a challenge to hunt. Most will say that there much more challenging then hunting whitetails. The Coues Deer is a small subspecies of white-tailed deer found in Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico. The particular buck In this thread was shot by my dad about 12 years ago In New Mexico using his longbow. It scored 65" and made the minimum (65") for P&Y.
