RE: How long did it take you ?

My strategyis for big woods, there are no crops where I hunt.:(

I wish my deer had nowhere to hide, that would be AWESOME.[&:]

How long did it take you to learn your property/properties to the point that you felt confident ?

I know we are always learning, or should be..but, I'm talking about really knowing/breaking down a given piece of land and understanding(REALLY understaning) how, when, where and why your quarry will utilize this tract..??

Further-more, what are the top 2 or 3 things you've learned that you feel aremost important and/or contributed to your successes ?

I honestly would say I am confident in hunting any property with only a topo and a aerial in just under an hour of blank stare.

From there I go onto the piece and do my short scout on the araes I want to be and hang.

Timing is the reason for my success and/or failure. And my philosophy towards hunting plays my biggest role in my successes.
