I say both.. I have a young cousin that hunts his heart out. He don't have much experience and has been hunting for maybe 4 or 5 years. But in that time he has legally taken something like6 or7 p&y bucks.

I voted luck.
Even if you know everything about a deer. Where he will come, what time he will come by, how many times he comes through each day. The day(s) that you are in the stand, you never know if he will come or not. ITS ALL LUCK. IMO |

A small% of bowhunters fill their tags in any given state each season, Its an even smaller % of bowhunters that fill their tags onGood Bucks for their area every season, you can call it luck if you want, But I think is a little deeper than that.
