archery blinds

I am looking at either the hunters view wigwam or ameristep doghouse. Any comments would be appreciated. Especially about how hard or easy they are to take down and haul out.

Saw a blind today, pretty cool and easy to set up, I am going to order one. Its actually an umbrella blind. I like the idea because its small but simple. Box blinds are to big. This idea works on the idea you are behind it and it has 2 small windows. Your head stays out of sight untill you are ready to shoot. Good for turkey, deer or any thing I' m guessing. And only 40.00 bucks.

I have the Ameristep Outhouse. I rarely hunt on the ground with my bow unless I' m stalking but it has more then enough room for me and I' m 6' 4" !! The Doghouse if a fine blind but the height is a little small for me.

My partner uses the Double Bull and it' s outstanding. I just can' t justify the expence for the little time I' d actually use it.

Good luck with whichever you choose.

I have the Doghouse model and I have plenty of good things to say about it. It is lightweight, easy to use, quiet, versatile, very water repellant and extremely inexpensive lately. I would vote for it as the best blind in its price range.

I just had the local shop order a Penthouse for me as well. It will be nice if I have a larger group of guys along with me hunting. Three was pushing it inside the Doghouse.

The doghouse is a good blind and sometimes the price is really right. Local store just had them on sale for $64.00. I like it for myself but I can get another in it with me if I need to. The penthouse is a monster blind you can get in it with your 4wheeler. The cadillac of all blinds is the double bull as has already been said, but for over $300.00 it outa be.
