I know the saying to each his own...but why? Do you hunt rhinos?[8D]
Im jk, sort of, its just with the newer faster bows coming out, I'm looking to go down in draw weight rather than up. |

Not sure this will help any, but I THOUGHT the 70# AM35 felt more like a 60# Trykon, and it seriously made my Trykon feel like an OLD Antiquated hunk of junk, from the Draw to the Wall, to the smoothness of let-down, and the feel on release, adding that it's nearly a pound lighter, it's a seriously NICE bow. I too am interested in what an 80#-er would feel like, since the 70 was so smooth and "easy" to pull.

You are 100% correct TEmbry. I always look to try keep getting lighter since I keep getting plder. With todays bows there is no need for even 70# draw weight. I still shoot 67# but I am looking at going with a new bow this year. I will look for speed (less draw weight) and a good brace height. My biggest problem is that I have a true 31" draw length. Alot of the new bows are at 30" max. By the way I am at 31" with a 1/2" string lope. Stinkin MONKEY arms!!! |
