This is the story. My bossowns a good 20 acre thick wooded lot that he huntsthat butts up toa wild life preserve. He did not hunt it for years and decided to hunt this year so he set up a stand in some thick thorny but more open area. He only hunted it3 timesthis year so I asked him if it was ok if I hunted it. So we went online and printed off a Ohio permision slip so i was leagal. He said that he seen deer usually come out around 4 o clock every time he hunted. He arrowed a 6 pointer earlier so he was done with the bucks. So this pass Friday I set up a climber close to his stand but not so much in the open as his blind was. I sat down at 3 o clock and just like he said around 4 o clock deer came out but soon to follow was my buck! I watched him for 45 minutes! he was moving soooo slow. Finally He came close enough out of the brush to shoot. I arrowed him mid body and back because my arrow hit a branch. While waiting before tracking, I kid you not a monster 12 point ran 15 yards from me and stood broadside to me, I was kind of sick to my stomach and pumped at the same time becauseI just arrowed a good 8 point:(:D. So i went to track and found only a small blood trail. Then itbecame really dark and my flashlight was junk! SoI decided to come back the next morning. I wasfeeling sick becauseI thoughtI wounded a deer and lost him,plus passed on a monster!!![:@]. About 830am the next day my boss went out before me and found him!! WoW some boss huh! So my dad and Iwent to claim my trophy! He is not a monster but to me he is a great 8 point Buck!!Also one heck of a first buck bow kill!

That's a nice deer, CONGRATS!!!! What part of NW Ohio??? He's only a 2.5yr old deer from the looks of him, but he's certainly he's a nice deer, especially for a first bow kill.
