OK, so I HAVE created a monster!
Yesterday,Matthew asks if I can get hima stake for one of my turkey decoys... Not thinking much about it, I oblige. An hour later, I find him like this out behind the house. I just had to go back and get the camera to capture this moment. He hammed it up a bit for the camera by coming to full draw, but otherwise this is how I found him. :D

I believe in an earlier post i stated that you had created a monster :Dglad you came to terms with that :DIm calling this one out of experience. When he is about 8-10 yrs old he will be crying in the driveway as your pulling out to go hunting ;)Im just sayin :Dmark it down :Dvery awesome pic ;)

If he's a monster...then congrats man. I say that is one of the greatest pics I've seen on kids. Good for him, let him monster all he wants. I know you're thrilled.

My son is 3. I asked him last night if he was gonna be a hunter. He said yes. I asked him what he was hunt with he said like you daddy....... a bow. What do you wanna kill first. He said a bear....... then a deer. In my thinkin it will work out. By law here in MB you have to be 12 to hunt. His birthday is january and spring bear comes first...... then deer in the fall. |

I could pass all my bows down to him as I got through with them, but nooo-oooo-ooo, of couse not.:DBowTech did take care of him though and he's already got a very nice Diamond Edge with a Hostage rest he's growing into. Right now he's more comfortable grabbing his little blue fiberglass job that he can hit his anchor with. Does pretty well, too -- won his class at both the 3d shoots he tagged along with Pop at. |

He's just like I was with my dad when I was his age: When I come back, he hangs on my every word pulling every detail of the hunt out of me. You wouldn't believe how excited he gets when he finds out I killed something. |

No Brian, this one's 5 -- this is the guy I killed the turkey with day before yesterday... got him in the mood. ;)His little brother (the one that's 2) was the one using the top of the couch for a treestand, which he's seen older brother do.

Funny Greg, i read where in another post where the little one blood trails you in the house :DI used to do this when mine was little, he would shoot me with a nerf bow and i would leave a trail of cut up red crate paper :D
