Bang for my buck
 

I just purchased the 2008 marquis, and I need some new arrows. The bow hasn’t been set up for me, but I am pretty sure that I will be shooting 29” draw at 65-70 lbs. I use a mechanical release and most likely will be purchasing a drop away rest with a trophy ridge sight. What type of arrow should I look into and what grain should I shoot. I want to be able to blow through deer, but still be quick enough so they don’t jump the arrow (which has happened in the past).

I wouldsuggest you get the bow set up and when you have a draw weight and length, only then would I get my arrows. The reason I say this is because you seam unsure of what you will be pulling or shooting.

You're not gonna get quick enough that deer won't jump string, they are just too fast, that being said, what budget do you have in mind for arrows. You can spend as much or as little as you want, and the more you spend in some cases the better you get. Your set-up is similar to mine, and the "BEST BANG FOR MY BUCK" are the arrows in my Signature line, and they spine just a touch stiff for either of our set-ups according to OT2, but I get great flight out of them, and they are consistent, straight, and TOUGH. I actually shot them along side the BEMAN's that they have the same spec's of, and they shot better than the Bemans, even though they are from the same factory that makes Bemans. Not sure why, but I consistently was getting better flight out of the Cabela's arrows.

For a weight, 400-450gr's is a good place to be, a little heavier arrow than a lot of the "SpeedFreaks" shoot, distributes the energy back into the arrow rather than the bow, causing less problems with your bow overall.

I would like to spend no more than $100 on the arrows, and thanks for the advice, and do you know what your speed is???

You shuld be fine in the range under 100. I have found a good amount under 100 fora dozen and more under 100 for 6. I think 6 is enough so I'd go with them and get a little better arrow.

I have a Bear instinct with 29" draw and 74 lbs. I'm shooting CX terminators 6075's that I bought a few years ago at walmart but I never used them. When I got this bow I remembered them and got them cut down to the right length. I plan to upgrade to a better CX arrow after I have shot these a while. They weigh in around the 400-425 mark with everything on them. I expect them to have no problem with penetration. I worried a little about that untill I figured out KE for my bow. I should be in the 70s with it. I think you setup should be fine with something like that.

But first get to a pro shop and get setup. Oh and congrats on the new bow!!
