RE: How long is your season?

You guys with long continuous seasons are very lucky.

On paper we can bow hunt starting the end of September/beginning of October depending on year and that runs for 6 weeks. Then our “gun” season runs 2 weeks starting the Monday after Thanksgiving (bows are legal to use)
We then get 2.5-3 more weeks starting the day after Christmas.

But in practice for the majority of the population, the first 6 weeks is about all the real bowhunting that we get.
Plus we can’t hunt Sundays.

You can hunt with a bow for 4 straight months, Oct. 1 - Jan. 31. However, firearm season begins the 3rd week in November and run thru the 2nd week in January.

The archery only season in Oct. 1 - Nov. 22 and January 15 - 31 (approximate)
