I was thinking the same thing.

In Illinois.. where the governor steals from the DNR's pocket.. they drive early 90's Datsuns. Which is funny since I didn't think Datsun still made trucks in the 90's.[&:]

Yes.. of course I'm messin' with you. But our Illinois trucks do suck.

Damn poachers![:@]

That is a nice truck. Good deer, too. I don't see Mr. Mass (I don't think) so that is a good thing!

Splain me Germ???? Poached bow kills? Did they poach with the bows or shoot with a gun and claim bows? Was this all one dude or group together? That's rediculous. More bucks there than I see could hope to see in 3 or 4 years and bigger too. I hope they take everything up theree, vehicle, weapons, license for several years. Just slugs if you ask me.

Maybe you should get in a location debate with them.

I know.. it was a poke in the back at DavidMil. But it was funny.. admit it.[8D]

Calhoun County one of the best locations in MI, how did you know[:-]. My buddy owns land in calhoun county. The deer density is 134 deer per SQM;) No joke

Nah, we got tons of deer. My county has a land area of 1213 square miles with a buck population/kill of 1.7 per sq mile. We killed 2200bucks last year. Wow, can you imagine that... almost 2 bucks per mile. Man, we're being over run.

Sorry to see it, Gary....but glad they got caught.

The guy I used to shoot 3D with.....the one I turned in last year (and I wasn't the only one who turned him in).....got charged, last week. They built a case on him for a year.....then nailed him.

I think he killed 12-13 bucks last year. Bad thing is....they were all little.

That would be Rochester Hills right? They are supposed to have police snipers to help control the population over there.

Where these shot in the same general area? If so, find out where and try and get on some ground around there. Those poachers know where the bigs bucks are.I'm certainly glad they were caught though.

I hate poaching [:@]Those are some dandy Mich bucks Gary. Just found out today that a Dad of one of my Daughters friends just got caught. He shot a mechanical deer from the road with a fire arm, he was drunk, had no licenese any way, had two minors with him, AND he tried to out run them. Hope he gets what he deserves [:@]

RE: Some of MI's finest

So the DNR got new trucks,I always thought they drove Dodge's. In Oceania county we found at least 100 dead
deer on state land with all the back straps cut out and all head gear taken off the bucks. We called the local
DNR and they said they would put a camera out to see if they come back[:@] what good is that going to due????
And our cabin is like one mile from there..worst numbers every.
