New Bow!
Just got a Mathews SQ2 last night.........man, going to get it fixed up Saturday. Can' t wait!!!!Anyone have any recommendations on type of arrows?
|
RE: New Bow!
Congratulations on the new bow. I always liked the characteristics of the SQ2. I am still just waiting for them to put a 31 inch draw length on it...;)
As for arrows...Carbon or Aluminum? Are you asking about size, etc? That would depend on draw weight, arrow length, point weight, etc.... |

RE: New Bow!
I heard that carbon aarows, if they get scratched, will explode on ya. Is this true or is this just something that happens with all arrows and you need to be aware of and make sure you are using good aarows?
|
RE: New Bow!
No that is not true.
They can explode if they are CRACKED when shot but it is up to the shooter to examine the arrow before shooting. You should also examine an aluminum arrow before it is shot also.It may not explode but it could be bent and miss the target. |
RE: New Bow!

RE: New Bow!
congrats on the new bow. I shoot an older model PSE that still has a lot of life left in it and just can' t bring myself to purchase a new one.
Are new Mathews as good as all the hype? Just curious. |
