Yeah....If I offended you guys who have lasik.....I apologize.

Really SWamp.....you can be as petty as you want. But the fact is....I use my binos while I'm BOWHUNTING.

When's the last time you used your GUN to bowhunt (don't answer that!)?
I am not sure he (or myself) were being petty, but just making a point. There is a section on here that is dedicated to equipment reviews. However, you spend most of your time here and you felt this was the best place to post your question. This thread is no different than the person asking about man caves, or the new puppy dog. Nobody complained, the only time it ever comes into question is if a gun is used.

If you have a SCUBA shop near by they will certainly have anti-fog for dive masks.

Jeff:

I wore glasses for about 15 years. A cheap/effective solution is to wash the lenses with a soapy water solution, using just regular old hand bar soap (Ivory works good). When done, leave just a bit of the soapy residue on the lenses, and then wipe the soapy residue off with a optical cleaning cloth as compared to washing/rinsing it off. It will leavea thin invisible coating on the lens that will last quite some time and does a great job of preventing fogging up.
Shaving cream works like this also. Might be a little on the smelly side for bowhunting though.

I really recommend scope dope, to anyone.

The first time I ever used it was in Quebec, caribou hunting where optics wereKEY. We didn't bring anything with us, and luckily another guy in camp had some.

Needless to say, I bought some when I got home, as I use my binocs ALL the time. It lasts forever, and is cheap as hell. Good stuff.

Actually this forum probably fits betterright below trail cameras)

Optics
Quality optics are a must-have for any serious hunter. Discuss them here.

I'm just saying, I use my truck when bowhunting, can anyone tell me what's a good price on an after market cab heater that runs straight off the battery?

I have quality optics! I just can't keep 'em from fogging up.

It's not like we're discussing dogs in the cat forum.....if you get my drift.

NEW...cut it out. Drive over here and let's go hunting.

It ain't about the "how" so much guys as it is just hunting (and I agree with that). I respect everyone's passions....but I do think there needs to be a line of demarcation.

Sorry if it stepped on toes.

Thanks for all of the advice on the binos question. Much appreciated.

Just bustin your chops a little Jeff. I am anxious to get out with my bow as the late bow season started yesterday in Chesapeake, VA. So hopefully I'll have a bowhunting pic to post by Jan. 3.

Good luck with the binos.
