I will usually loose 15-20 lbs. in the first month andhalf of the season. I typicallyhavecuts and bruises covering my bodyfrom the set-ups. Just part of the deal - makessuccess tastethat much sweeter!

Usually, whenwe finally do get a big one down, we're so beat all wewant to dois sleep! he he he...
True dat!

I usually burn off 10 pounds during every hunting season.

I get beat up bad. And somehow I get back up.. over tired and thin.[&:]

try shooting a 24 hour bowfishing tournament. It makes deer hunting seem easy on the body. But yes I know what you mean
Good point. I promise you our annual week long TX bowfishing trip is far and above more taxing than the entire deer season.
NO JOKE! I never realized how dead I would be after even one night of bowfishing. Standing on a hard deck with a bow in hand for 12+ hours..constantly lifting fish...that gets tiring quick.

Deer hunting doesn't get me, besides the lack of sleep. I think it's just you old farts[8D]. If I wasn't going to bed after midnight on Fridays trying to get up at 330 to go hunting, I would function as normal. This Sunday I caught up on sleep while being down with sinuses and what not..I am reenergized and ready for the rest of the winter.

I think I've weighed the same for like 4 years.

It does take a lot out of you though.
