No, but I just got the Capture Flash model a month or so ago. Love everything about it except that I can't view the cards on my digital camera. It has a different format than the camera uses. Same card just different format. They sure do want you to buy their readers.;) I just take it home and plug it into my computer.

You order one or ordered one?[8D]

I'll be picking up a digital scouting cam before next year myself.

Nice! I have 3 of the flash models of the cuddebacks and my BIL has the capture flash model and I love mine. Takes the best quality pics

I have a Cuddeback No flash. I'm not having much luck getting pics. I even hung a second camera a few feet away and had over 50 pics, none on the Cudde.[:o]I'm thinking about calling them to see if there is something wrong with the camera.

BTW, the pics I did get (of me checking the camera ;)) were very clear.

I had 2 Cuddeback IR's and while they are a good cam, I sold them both after using Home Brews.
I have several Home Brew cams now[8D]

The one thing I don't like about the new Cuddebacks (Capture) Is that you can't take video's with them like you could on the other Cuddebacks. That's the only reason I never bought the new models. Do they have the tiny red lights on the IR's also like the no flash ones had?

You won't regret it. Trail cams can be addicting. They can also show you what you aren't killing.[8D][&o]

LOL

I have the no flash model and it broke after a year of use. Sent it back to cuddeback and told them the issues I had with it. They fixed some of the issues on the newer model I guess cuz they just sent me a new version of the no flash.. There was a small fee plus shipping.. But they always work good and take good pics.. (when not broke)

RE: I broke down order a CuddeBack

I bought my Capture IR about 3 weeks ago. I had 3 Stealth Cams over the last 3 years, but was not having much luck with them.

I forked over some extra cash for my Cudde, and I plan on buying at least 1 or 2 more of the flash kind for next season. The IR does work great though. I was used to having nearly 75% of blanks with my Stealth Cams, and out of about 50 images with 2 set ups I only have 1 blank with my Cuddeback.

The drawbacks I don't like are they only provide a cheap strap for setup, and no convenient way to lock with a normal padlock. I have been doing it, but it is a pain trying to get one locked onto it with a normal sized padlock and cable. Also, you are only able to take one picture at a time...the closest you can get is 30 seconds as a time. Another, I was not able to view the SD Cards on my camera, but I just began switching the cards out. No video really wasn't to big of a deal for me.

Overall----a much better camera than my 3 Stealth Cams, and I can't wait to buy a few more before next year. I'm also going to plan on buying their card reader too.

Germ,

Congrats on your first camera purchase. I think you will find that it can become very addictive. Cuddes have had issues in the past with their sensors. Yes, they do trigger fast and yes the pics. they take are high quality but if the unit is not sensing, you won't get any pictures. Log onto www.chasingame.com and see what they have to say about cuddes. Another good sight, where they actually compare detection zones from different cameras side by side is www.trailcampro.com Good luck with your purchase and I hope to see some pics from your new-found addiction.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

NY/AL I'll start the bidding at 1.50/HR. Anybody else? :D:D:D:D
